Best Coast - Boyfriend

This was the first song I’ve ever heard of from this band and it will always be my favorite. The song by the band Best Coast relates to anyone who’s ever had that “secret but untangible crush”. The song from the native LA indie group is off of their album ‘Crazy For You’. The album released in July of 2010 and was a big success in the indie charts.

Another “MUST HEAR” song from the band is called ‘When I’m With You’. Go and check out the amazingness of Best Coast on iTunes now. - J

The War On Drugs - Come to the City

Indie Rock has never sounded better. The band from Philadelphia formed when the lead vocalist, Adam Granduciel, moved from California to Philie and met up with Kurt Vile. The two created the back-bone to the band but after releasing their first couple pf EP’s Vile and the other band mates split.

The band went on as Adam recruited Dave Hartley and Mike Zanghi. The remaining members of the band have been touring and have had a successful run so far. In 2011 the band released its second full length album by the name of ‘Slave Ambient’.

The band has been featured in Rollingstone Magazine, Paste Magazine, and many more. They are making their way onto the top of the indie charts so watch out for them. - J

The Naked and Famous - Punching in a Dream

This band is nothing like we’ve ever heard before, their sound is so unique and attention grabbing. Their name is The Naked and Famous. The New Zealand Indie Rock group started out In 2008 but they just recently grabbed the attention of the entireU.S.! Their first album ‘Passive Me, Aggressive You’ debuted in 2010 immediately gaining fame from being featured on television shows like Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Chuck, and more.
